In the current era, skill development, ably supported with Artificial Intelligence (AI) knowledge, would give the much needed confidence to the younger generation in building a strong economy, said Tamil Nadu Information Technology and Digital Services Minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan here on Sunday.
Inaugurating the Madurai Skill Development Academy, an initiative of the Madurai Sivakasi Nadars Uravinmurai on GST Road, Thirupparankundram, he said that from the academic curriculum, learning skills in multiple areas would give abundant opportunities for job aspirants.
Appreciating the doors of the uravinmurai and the academy’s team for establishing the new initiative, he outlined the government’s skill development programmes which is spelt out in the nuances on the AI among others.
The Minister said that the government would provide all support to the academy.

The MSDA secretary A. Murali Babu said that the academy would provide high quality training and development to the youth from Madurai city in multiple disciplines. To begin with, they have planned to admit 200 students with the help of Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation.
The Minister witnessed the AI and other education methods to be adopted by the students.
